Hey all,

I was just wondering who all is going to KingsCon and if they plan on hitting up anything else during the weekend?

I'm planning on going to KingsCon. It will be my first EGL event since becoming an ACE member, so I'm excited to meet everyone.

I wasn't really planning on hitting up anything else that weekend, unless someone had an idea.

The EGL does have a Beast meet up the next day if you are planning on staying in the area.

As far as other stuff to do that weekend, it probably depends on where you are heading from. My daughter and I are coming in from Michigan so we are going to take a slight detour and spend the 14th at Cedar Point and we are looking at hitting a Family Entertainment center or one of the museums in the Cincinnati area on the way home Sunday.

I'm a new member as of July and missed the cut off date for registration, but am going to be at Kings Island both on Saturday and Sunday. I hope to meet up with people from ACE anyway if possible. I'm flying in from Oregon to do a solo trip. First starting at Dollywood on 13-14, then Kings Island on 15-16, finally to Cedar Point on 18-19.

Even though you are not registered, keep an eye on our itinerary... There are a few times where you're sure to find a group of us, such as the Ride Marathon and Lunch.

Dollywood, Kings Island, and Cedar Point... That's one great coaster trip!

Looking forward to Kings Con! I was on vacation for last year's event, so glad to be able to make it this year. Plus, looks like much better weather this year. 😎 Kings Island is my home park, so I'm there every week, but as someone who attended every year of Coasterstock, looking forward to enjoying that coveted late-night Beast ERT again!

Oh yeah! It will definitely be better weather, (certainly couldn't be much worse, lol)

ERT night rides on Beast and Mystic, doesn't get much better than that!

My family will be there!  It's going to be our 2nd ACE event and our 1st KingsCon.  I'm so excited!!  We're planning on going into the park on Sunday as well for the meet up in front of The Beast.  I'm a little worried about the traffic, though, since the tennis tournament is right across the highway from King's Island.  I'm planning on giving ourselves a LOT of extra time to get there.  Does anyone know how early they will let us into the parking lot at KI since our check-in time is from 8:00-9:00 AM?  We were at the park a day where there were 3 corporate events going on and they let those folks park early and had them go in a specified gate at the front entrance. I'm guessing they'll start letting us park in the lot at 8:00 AM.

I don't know exactly when they'll let us park, but I think your right that it should be right around 8am. I'm sure we'll get more info soon.

It is my family's first ACE event and plan on spending most of the day at the park. We go to the park a lot and at least try to hit Orion or Diamondback every time we go. We will leave the park for awhile though to get some rest in. I am getting old for the open to close stuff anymore lol

Lol I get that, a whole day at the park is wonderful, but also draining. And, it's not just a regular open to close, we have one hour of morning ERT and two hours after close to boot!

You picked a great event to have for your first ACE event... It really is the people and the friendships found in ACE that really make these events wonderful!
