ACE salutes Six Flags Over Texas for its multi-decade support of American Coaster Enthusiasts.
Beginning with Coaster Con IV in 1981, Six Flags Over Texas has been welcoming to the enthusiast community. After serving as co-host of Coaster Con XIII in 1990, the park has since organized at least one event annually for ACE members and included members in media events. It has served as host for other ACE functions as well, including meetings, conferences and off-season events.
Through its 65-year history, the park has introduced the world’s first log flume and mine train coaster, preserving them both for six decades. Over the years, ride innovations have been introduced at Six Flags Over Texas that have made a significant impact on the amusement industry.
As Six Flags Over Texas celebrates 65 years of entertaining both fans and families with engaging attractions, including the ACE Roller Coaster Landmarks Runaway Mine Train and Shock Wave, ACE appreciates its support of the enthusiast community through the many years.
