Easy for some geographically without a doubt but I find it tough to pitch my tent in the "home park" camp.
I am just about 100 miles from Six Flags: St. Louis (which is having its own identity crisis) and just THREE MILES further in the opposite direction is Holiday World.
Growing up I was exposed to SF:STL and never (that I remember) visited Holiday World until I went with friends as an adult. I knew it existed and heard and saw good things but it never was "where we went". My wife's family were the opposite and only a couple times had she gone to SF:STL and preferred HW.
We snagged Six Flags Plus memberships in 2023 and after a few years of being grandfathered in they will cease to exist at the close of this season when Enchanted Parks fully releases our legacy passes which cannot and will not be transferred to another Cedar Flags park.
We've made a great effort during the 2025 & 2026 seasons to trek to some awesome and interesting parks. Of course having a strong nostalgia for my childhood love of Six Flags and having enjoyed many of the chain's parks with my family, I snatched up 2027 Prestige passes with all the bells and whistles we've come to enjoy and desire.
I will always have a place in my heart for Six Flags: St. Louis aka Six Flags Over Mid-America aka Enchanted Parks: Mid-America. Hate it or love it the park is charming, currently has an impressive wide array of coasters, flats, flumes and more plus the history of being the third and final true original "Built by Six Flags, for Six Flags" park.

I guess we are a technically in the eyes of Cedar Flags a Kings Island family now? Thankfully we all adore this park and it has something for just about everyone of any age with great operations, landscaping, food, coasters and the list goes on and on. Not complaining by any stretch but it is bittersweet and we are not much further from these other parks at all.
TL:DR, my home park has been Six Flags St. Louis and if you are reading this you already know things are very different there now. I live in between a bunch of great parks and am having trouble finding a place to rest my head.
I can't be the only one, right?
