Members interested in authoring a particular article can reach out to Publications Director Rob Ascough rascough@aceonline.org or Editor Lee Ann Draud at leeanndraud@gmail.com. Please take a look at the type of articles that are currently published. Articles about new coaster openings, events and specific articles about parks, lost or operating, are suitable for ACE’s purposes. Articles about personal trips and personal favorites are not the right fit. Remember, the focus should be on the park or the roller coaster, not the member.
How do I contribute photos?
Did you attend a recent event? Hit a milestone? There are numerous ways to contribute photos. You can choose the most convenient way that fits your needs. We are able to accept photos via Google Drive, WeTransfer and Dropbox. WeTransfer will automatically create a link. For Google Drive and Dropbox it is best to create a shareable link that can be shared by anyone. Send the link to tbaldwin@aceonline.org. Putting lots and lots of photos on a CD or DVD is an easy option; and if you are just contributing a few, you can simply email them. Photos should be sent to Tim Baldwin, ACE’s photo editor at tbaldwin@aceonline.org. New roller coasters, event coverage or updated park shots are always of interest. Longtime members who have access to a scanner can fill in some gaps of long-lost parks, coasters or early ACE events. (Those shoe boxes full of old prints can be a treasure trove.) Photo contributions are at the forefront of ACE’s ongoing needs.
