Manufacturer that you wish built a coaster in your home park?

    Hey all,

When you look at your home park or the park you visit the most, is there a manufacturer that your park is missing?

For me living near Michigan's Adventure I have plenty of options, from B&M to Intamin to GCI, but what I really would love to see is RMC bless us in Michigan with one of theirs. It can be a single rail, conversion or ground up... I don't care, I'm not picky!

What would be yours for your home park?

I would love to see a Gerstlauer Euro-fighter or Infinity model at Michigan's Adventure, we don't have a single one in our region.

That would fit perfectly for MIA... Small footprint and relatively inexpensive. Also it being a bit lower capacity wouldn't be an issue with a lesser attended park. A nice modern thrill coaster is very much needed there!

If Wolverine Wildcat was reprofiled by Gravity Group to ride like Phoenix, MiA would become a destination park

The first half is already much better than it was five years ago... I'd even say the first half is very good. If Gravity Group would be able to work it's magic on the second half you'd have an amazing one-two punch with Shivering Timbers next door!

    Destination park for sure!

Now they are separate from 6F/CF, they can do a Halloween event and maybe something for Christmas too.  I think Enchanted will have to sell more APs and increase days open

I would love to see an expanded schedule, I imagine part of the problem is staffing, when school is in session, but I know I wouldn't mind taking on a second job for a handful of weeks just to keep things going a bit longer.

I don't need the cash, but I would love to see the park thrive!

Other than all the usual wants (RMCs, Intamins, Macks), I'd love to see more modern Vekomas. The rides they've put out in the last several years have been amazing, and I wish there were more in our region. A family boomerang would do amazing at Michigan's Adventure, a suspended family coaster would be a great addition to Cedar Point's family-oriented lineup, and a ghost rider or other sitdown thrill coaster would be a standout at Kings Island.

Vekoma has been on a streak as of late, glad to see them slowly trickling into the states after Europe has been enjoying their new stuff for years now. Any park would be thrilled to have one of their "new age" models. Fingers crossed we see a few more come into our region!

I for one am not a fan of RMC installations.  Their restraint system is a shin killer.  If they fixed it I would stop avoiding their rides.

Have you tried one of the Texas RMC's? They have the older trains that are more comfortable. Iron Rattler was great.

Good question! I wish we had a B&M hyper or giga on the west coast!

There's lots of rides in the EGL Region I would love to have in California.

It is rather shocking that there isn't a B&M hyper out West ... With all the parks out that way you'd think there would be at least one.

My home park is Kings Island. We have a great variety of coasters, but we could still use a modern standout coaster. I would lover to seen a new multi-launch Vekoma like Velocicoaster  or an Mack Extreme Spinner, but I think a new 200+ foot ground up RMC in the Vortex plot would be my pick.

Kings Island used to do record-breaking better that anyone, but I'm afraid out next coaster will be a family launch. I am not as big of fan of Big Bear Mountain so that option would be disappointing.

I'd love to see a more inversion based RMC in the Vortex plot... The inversions would sort of nod to Vortex and also would give a different experience compared to Steel Vengeance up north. Also if there is something that KI is a bit light on it's inversions.

Since the last installation was the family boomerang I'd imagine the next coaster wouldn't be a family one, hopefully they go big!
