Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, California, experienced production and construction delays, which caused West Coast Racers to miss the 2019 summer season.

The park announced in an email to annual passholders that West Coast Racers will open for Six Flags' Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Elite members on December 21 and 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The coaster will open to all season pass holders and members starting the next day. That preview will run from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through December 31, then from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on January 1 through 5.

Members and pass holders do not need to sign up in advance to ride, just present their valid pass cards at the ride entrance.

Six Flags is reminding everyone that this is a preview and that West Coast Racers might not be available during all scheduled preview times. No official word yet on a public opening for the coaster, but if all goes well, expect all Six Flags Magic Mountain ticket holders to be able to ride at some point soon after January 5, 2020.
