NOTICE: Registration for this event closed on Friday August 28 at Midnight. If you'd like to attend, tickets will need to be purchased separately from the Fair. If you'd like to attend the history presentation, please e-mail the Northwest Representative Team at: northwest@aceonline.org. 

Join us at the 126th season of the Washington State Fair! Experience this historic fairgrounds from its fresh Fisher Scones to the thrilling drops of the Schwarzkopf Wild Cat.

Take-in preservation first-hand by riding the only portable Philadelphia Toboggan Coaster (PTC) Carousel still in operation (PTC 43), the Von Roll open-air aerial gondola lift which debuted at the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, as well as the world-famous ACE Landmark Classic Coaster- the only wooden roller coaster operating on a fairground. There's also a Zierer Hexentanz (Inferno)- one of only two still operating in the world. 

 
Tentative Itinerary
  • 9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Check In at Gold Gate
  • 9:30 a.m.: Fair gates open 
  • 10 a.m.: History Presentation at the Fair History Experience Museum (Group 1)
  • 11 a.m.: Informal Takeover on Antique Carousel (PTC 43)
  • 12 p.m.: Informal Takeover on Wildcat 
  • 1 p.m.: History Presentation at Fair History Experience Museum (Group 2)
  • 2:30 p.m.: Group Photo and Informal Takeover at Classic Coaster 

 

All participants will receive:
  • Gate Admission to the Washington State Fair
  • A card which allows users to ride 6 rides of their choosing. Does not work on Extreme Scream drop tower or any other non-ticketed attractions. Value is up to $60 (a single ride on Classic Coaster or Wild Cat is $10). 
    • Do note: several rides/ attractions (Wild Cat) have a strict single rider policy. Please pair with another rider or respect that your group may be split.
  • Choice to participate in a history presentation by Washington State Fair Historians.
    • There are up to two presentations. You/ your group will be assigned with either a 10AM slot or 1PM slot on a first-come, first-served basis (up to 50 per presentation). Once presentation slots are full we may not have others available.

All ACE members and their guests are expected to abide by the ACE Code of Conduct at all times. Also the kiddie coasters Dragon Wagon and Tiger Express within the children's area ("Sillyville") are off limits unless the rider is a child that is allowed to ride the coaster. Violators found breaking this rule will face disciplinary action.

    (Includes $1 to ACE Preservation with all proceeds will be matched!).

All communications following your registration regarding any changes or updates to the itinerary will be sent to the e-mail associated with your order. Be sure to check your junk folder and enable permissions so you don't miss any possible updates!

SCHEDULE ADVISORY

Inclement weather, equipment problems or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the published schedule. The park will do its best to provide ride times and rides as listed; however, the schedule of events remains tentative and is subject to change based on the park's operational status and local health restrictions at the time of the event.

ACCESSIBILITY

Should you need special accommodations such as a wheelchair, speech/hearing, etc., refer to the participating parks policy prior to the event date. Most parks offer a complete guide for guests with a disability.

REFUNDS AND REGISTRATION FEES

Refunds will not be given. Registration fees will not be prorated for partial attendance and tickets are nontransferable. Event attendee substitutions are at ACE’s discretion. Permission must be obtained prior to the event, in writing, from the event contact.

The payment of registration fees by, for, or on behalf of participants releases and holds harmless the American Coaster Enthusiasts Worldwide Inc. and its Officers, Directors, Executive Committee Members and representatives from any and all liabilities related to those activities. Returned checks and chargeback disputes will be treated as uncollected debt. ACE reserves the right to execute debt collection following the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION

Although our host parks are making every effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and place where people are present. Refer to park policies for additional information, requirements and latest updates.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Members and their guests should be especially aware that their behavior affects ACE’s reputation, and they are expected to abide by ACE’s Code of Conduct at all times during the event and follow all host park policies, including, but not limited to, alcohol consumption. Members are responsible for the conduct of their nonmember guests. Parents and/or guardians are responsible for supervising minor event attendees. Members found to be in violation of the code are subject to ACE's disciplinary procedures, which may be in the form of, but not limited to, verbal or written warning, membership suspension or involuntary termination.

Any violations of park policies, including underage alcohol consumption are a violation of section C.1 of ACE’s Code of Conduct and could result in suspension of the member’s ACE membership as well as action by the park.

NAME BADGES

You must be registered and your official event name badge must be visible to participate in scheduled event activities.
