If you have had the opportunity to visit the World’s Greatest Waterpark, then you know:
Schlitterbahn is not only the best, summer after summer,
but the most popular waterpark in America!

SchlitterCon is a two-day event that has become known for summer family fun. For SchlitterCon 22 the theme is "Full Throttle". This regional event makes a perfect Memorial Day weekend escape and a wonderful way to officially kick off summer. SchlitterCon 22 will include two days of admission, a breakfast, two dinners, tons of family fun activities, an exclusive morning ERT, two evening ERTs, two after-hours parties, and more!

Meet Wasserbahn Racers: Schlitterbahn New Braunfel’s New High-Speed Mat Racing Slide for 2026

Crafted for fierce-yet-friendly competition, Wasserbahn Racers is a three-lane, face‑first mat racing slide designed to turn friends and families into rival racers. You’ll launch headfirst down a sleek new course featuring dips, chutes, and momentum‑building drops—all ending in a classic Schlitterbahn splashdown.

The attraction is built right into the park’s natural hillside overlooking the Comal River, blending seamlessly into the Hill Country terrain. So not only do you get a fast ride—you get a beautiful view on your way down.

Schlitterbahn teamed up with WhiteWater, one of the biggest names in water attraction design, to bring this high‑speed concept to life. Their signature style? Smart engineering, smooth transitions, and just the right amount of “whoa, did we really just go that fast?”

Wasserbahn Racers delivers all of that—and then some.

Wasserbahn Racers is the headliner of what promises to be an unforgettable year at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. With enhancements rolling out across the park and fresh experiences on the horizon, 2026 will be the perfect time for guests to rediscover everything they love about this Texas waterpark legend.

2026 Park Improvements: More Magic Around Every Corner

The fun doesn’t stop with Wasserbahn Racers! Schlitterbahn is rolling out a wave of 2026 upgrades that will sprinkle extra excitement throughout the entire park. Guests can look forward to refreshed resorts, a boosted Blastenhoff Tower and updated adventures at Han’s Hideout. Classic favorites such as Submarine and Octopus slides are getting some love too, along with the always‑popular Pirate Ship at Surfenburg.
